All Aboard with SagePay

Sage Pay

Towards the end of last year, we were appointed as an official SagePay Aggregator and throughout June and July we have been busy migrating all our Verifone payment gateway clients to the new SagePay service.  This has enabled us to continue to offer a competitive pricing model for card payment transactions, plus we have already introduced some new services and improved features with more to follow in the coming months.

If you don’t currently take card payments through your t3, t28 or ph28 software and wish to do so, then please call us for the latest SagePay pricing information.

Are you still using Windows XP?

Windows XP

If you are still using Windows XP then there are very important reasons for upgrading to a newer Windows version. Microsoft dropped their support for XP over a year ago and there are have been no security fixes for well over a year, making XP the number one target for hackers and fraudsters.

Many people still claim that Windows XP is the best operating system Microsoft ever produced, and it certainly was a huge hit with large corporations and public utilities. Well that may have been the case a ten years ago but with the recent release of Windows 8.1 and with Windows 10 just around the corner, Windows XP just doesn't cut the mustard anymore.

Did you know that Windows XP is over 14 years old now and many software providers including ourselves and the card payment service industry no longer support Windows XP. In fact you'll find that using Windows XP breaks PCI regulations and it's deemed untrustworthy by card providers for payments. You could even be open to huge fines from the regulators if your security is breached through XP workstations.

So if you have any XP machines in your business then please speak to your IT support company about the latest versions of Windows. All current Roeville software is fully supported in the professional\business editions of all the latest Windows versions.

And finally.....
